There's nothing quite like a day at the beach with your dog, where the sand, sea, and open spaces provide endless fun for both of you. If you're based in Bracknell, Berkshire, and looking for the perfect seaside escape with your canine companion, we've got you covered. West Wittering Beach

The beach is very popular - we avoid peak season and times as its not our vibe. Favouring early Am and later Pm visits when families are all beached out.


East Wittering

Distance from Bracknell: ~70 miles (1 hr 45 mins by car)

Parking: Pay-and-display car park at Marine Drive; limited street parking.

Public Transport: Train to Chichester, then bus to East Wittering (approx. 30 mins).

Rules for Dogs: Dogs allowed year-round; on-lead restrictions in some areas May-September.

Description: Pebble and sand beach, ideal for a relaxed day out with family and dogs. Great for water sports and coastal walks. Horses are aloud on the beach, we have seen them every time we have been there trotting, cantering and galloping (all exciting for some dogs).

Eastney Beach
