Living with a dog with separation anxiety
Separation anxiety in dogs can be incredibly challenging, causing distress not only for the dog but also for the owner. It’s stressful to see your dog struggle when left alone, often leading to feelings of frustration and helplessness. At My Dogs Club, we understand how overwhelming this can be, and we’re here to offer support without judgment. Our compassionate approach focuses on helping your dog feel more secure and teaching you effective strategies to ease their anxiety. Together, we can work towards creating a calmer, happier environment for both you and your dog.
Reach your training goals
We're one of Bracknell's most highly qualified dog training & dog behaviourist teams. Offering bespoke dog & puppy training that values compassion, connection, and mutual growth. Keep in mind that our fees may be eligible for insurance claims, depending on your policy’s coverage.
Hello From Elin our SA Behaviourist
Our program is designed to guide you through a personalized plan, gradually helping your dog become comfortable with being left alone.
Since we can’t train your dog to handle alone time if I’m physically present, the entire process is conducted via Zoom.
Each week, I’ll provide you with simple, 5-step plans tailored to your dog's progress based on our consultations.
You'll have our SA behaviourist Elins support through WhatsApp, with regular check-ins and guidance to keep you and your dog on track.

Vet Referral
Why?
Its documented, and it's also our lived experience, that between 30% and 80% of dogs showing behaviour complaints have an underlying pain condition. So we rule these out first to our satisfactory level.
You can't out train pain
By law, only a veterinarian can rule pain out as a cause for problem behaviour. Therefore, all professionals should work strictly via veterinary referral. We work closely with most veterinarians in Bracknell and the surrounding areas and your vet should be happy to refer to us.
How
For veterinary referrals please download and forward our form to your vet. Request it is completed and returned along with your dog’s medical history. This is provided on your onboarding email.
How to get started
Simply select the package below to suit your needs and budget and we will do the rest.
All behaviour appointments take place subject to availability and by mutual agreement Saturday- Wednesday between 12pm-7pm
(Other times may be available by request - please check before booking)
What are the prerequisites.
With behaviour best practice is to rule out and work with medical conditions. So a vet check and pain assessment may be recommended. This will include a vet referral form and video assessment. The first session is held on zoom and will require a completed history form (to be completed 1 week before your session).
Your dog can't be left beyond their comfort during the program so arrangements and plans are needed to facilitate this. We can help think out side of the box with this depending on what you have to work with.
